Ilkeston Town - New Manor Park
Website(s) : Official Site, The White Ball Project, Ilson Online
Discussion Boards(s) : The White Ball Project Forum, Ilson Online Forum
Directions : The best way to get to Ilkeston seems to be off of the M1 north of both Derby & Nottingham. It's well signposted, so get off at J26, head for Ripley along the A610 then towards Awsworth and then towards Ilkeston. The ground is down a hill on the right after turning off a newish bypass.
Parking : A decent sized car park but I'd still try to get there early.
Ground Description : A newer ground which I believe has been developed since my last visit. Cover behind both goals with a stand on the far side.
Food : They had a 'sit down' portakabin last time I was there, and there were a few City fans in there eating whilst the game was on. I know we were bad back then but you don't go all that way to sit and eat rather than watch the footie!!!
Social Club : Nice big club with pretty barmaids, might've changed though. They soon learn't what a 'Henry' was when the City fans arrived!
Supporters : They've been known to be trouble but I've not seen any on my two visits.
