Southport v's City - From BBC Radio Gloucestershire - 25th March 2003 |
City go behind after a little less than fifteen minutes. Southport striker Peter Thomson controls a cross, turns and volleys it beyond the reach of Matt Bath. From here I thought that we'd be thrashed! |

Despite being under the cosh for large periods of the first half, with a few minutes to go Lee Smith breaks forward and sends across a poor looking cross. What looks like confusion in the defence then allows Jimmy Cox to slip in and sidefoot home a memorable equaliser, caught here by the chaps at the BBC. |

With the game midway through the second half and City comfortably soaking up pressure from the home side, we break away and score again through Cox. It actually sounds as if the commentator is enjoying this at this stage! |

With little more than minutes until injury time City put the game beyond doubt with a third goal. This time goalscorer Cox sets up Tom Webb to rifle home from the edge of the area and send the City fans into raptures. |

City v's Sudbury Town - From the Sudbury website - 17th October 1998 |

An audio match report from Neil Cheese of the Sudbury website. This is superb to listen to after the guy had travelled 350 miles to watch his team lose 10-0. A gem! |
