Cambridge City - Milton Road

Directions : Milton Road is surprisingly easy to find. It's on the north of the City as you approach from the A14. Follow the signs for Cambridge and as you approach the first set of traffic lights in the built up area take a left, follow this road until you come to an island and then follow the main route up Milton Road. The ground is on the left behind an office building. |
Parking : Loads. Their car park doubles up as a coach park. |
Ground Description : Space age looking main stand but the rest is all rather compressed around the sides. I believe that they used to have a MASSIVE ground but sold a large portion of the land and rebuilt the ground. |
Food : Can't remember to be that honest! |
Social Club : I think it's also a nightclub or something like that. I'm sure more people from Cambridge visit for the social side rather than the football side. |
Supporters : Nothing special. I do however recall one time sitting up in the stand having a verbal exchange with one 'geezer' when we beat them 4-0 there. Adebowale all legs? Whatever you say mate! |

Directions : As with most league grounds it's well signposted. Head along the M4 until you reach J33 and then head in via the western bypass. |
Parking : There was a lot of waste ground next door where we parked our coaches but I'm pretty sure that they've built an athletic stadium on it nowadays. |
Ground Description : A typical old style football league ground that really hasn't changed much since we were there. |
Food : Can't remember! |
Social Club : Didn't go in there, I doubt if we'd have been allowed either. |
Supporters : Cardiff have some of the most notorious fans in the country. They are well supported these days but when we played them they struggled to beat 3000. |

Directions : Go via the A40 (Oxford) to the M40, get off at Junction 2 and head through Amersham. The ground is on the Amersham to Chesham road at the first roundabout as you leave a wooded area and enter the town. |
Parking : More than enough for the crowds that they get. The crowd adjoins a cricket ground though and parking is on grass banks. |
Ground Description : Sloped pitch, cover behind both goals and at either side. |
Food : Typical fairground 'fast food' stuff |

Cinderford Town - The Causeway

Directions : Take the A40 out of Gloucester, then the A48 through Minsterworth and Westbury on Severn before taking a right at Elton Corner. Follow the road around several sweeping bends and inclines before going right into Littledean and then up the hill. At the top keep on the main road to the right and head into Cinderford before taking the first right after the bend. Head along Littledean Hill Road for about a quarter of a mile before taking a left into Latimer Road, then right into Edge Hills Road. The Ground is on the right. |
Parking : There is limited parking at the ground for the early arrivals. Outside there is plenty of street parking but the general area looks rather rough so leave a Rottweiler in the car, better still, teach your Rottweiler to put out fires. |
Ground Description : Shoddy looking ground with no cover whatsoever on three sides. The far end has a grass bank which gives supporters a nice elevated view but both of the other uncovered sides are flat. There are three covered areas, the main stand is in the middle and one terrace which looks as though it should've been condemned years ago. |
Food : Didn't eat, although Terry the Tea Bar said that the burgers were shite! |
Social Club : The best part of the ground. Two decent sized bars and a skittle alley. |
Supporters : There aren't many but the ones we met were a great bunch. |

Directions : Take the A417 to Cirencester and disembark at the junction with the A429 Burford Road. Turn left away from Cirencester and then immidiately right down Cherrytree Lane. At the end, go right across the A417 bridge and then left down Kingshill Lane. The ground is about half a mile on the right. |
Parking : A small car park at the ground and additional parking alongside one of the academy football pitches. We removed the stakes in the ground and parked on the field to avoid being blocked in. |
Ground Description : This is the worst example of a 'new' ground that I've ever seen and it's location on the edge of town, plus the lack of shelter leaves it wide open to the elements. The only cover comes in the form of a seated area for Directors with a minimal standing area beside it, plus to old stand that they brought with them from the old ground. |
Food : Mobile effort, start queuing at half time, get served at full time. |
Social Club : The saving grace. Two big bars with a projection TV. Nice! |
Supporters : The Ciren Massiv' and Pylonsider, not many more. Pylonsider will be lonely when the Massiv' discover girls! |

Clevedon Town - The Hand Stadium
|

Discussion Boards(s) :  |
Directions : Take the M5 south to Junction 20. There is only one exit off the roundabout so take it and head into Clevedon (or you can get back onto the M5!) Take a left at the first island then continue along Central Way until you get to another roundabout by a superstore. Take a left here and then left again into Davis Lane. Continue back over the M5 and out into the countryside where you'll find the Hand Stadium. |
Parking : More than enough although they'd be pushed if they had a four-figure crowd. |
Ground Description : Did someone say 'Breeze Block'? They have cover along one side and a stand opposite, although the stand looks as though it is only half built. Behind both goals are uncovered terraces with slight steps on them. It gets very cold here in winter. |
Food : Normal fare. |
Social Club : One of the best in the league, although it's rural location must mean that it's sadly wasted. I believe that at weekends it becomes Clevedon's Premier Nightspot! |
Supporters : Ex-World Bowls Champion David Bryant supports Clevedon Town! |
