First Game Attended : Gloucester v Northampton in a friendly our 1st season in the Dr Martens premier league. (actually thats a lie it was Glos v Arsenal but I dont like to mention them too often) |
Description of yourself on a matchday : Too loud, too wound up (it's all to do with passion), and my kids running round me driving me mad |
Other team(s) supported : Tottenham (some one has to) |
Favourite Away ground : Used to be Atherstone because of the delightful Faggots & Peas that they used to serve in the food bar. Not too sure now, Any we win at. |
Worst Away ground : Atherstone because it's the pits and they dont serve the delightful Faggots & Peas anymore. |
Furthest travelled to an away game : Bishops Auckland |
Most memorable City match : Either the second leg v Dagenham in 97 (went through all the emotions possible that day) or more up to date would have to be the replay v Woking (unfortunately couldn't make it to the Southport game) |
Maddest Celebration : v Baldock in 97 the game ended we had won even though Dave Johnson had been sent off and our promotion dream was still alive, I along with most of the city supporters at the game jumped over the wall to get onto the pitch and managed to catch my shin on the wall I'm sure I've still got the scar now |
All-time favourite City player : Has to be Sir Gary Kemp, a player who always gave 110% and was a great servant to Gloucester City |
Current favourite City player : A hard choice as I believe that there are at least 5 players who deserve it but I'll go for Neil Griffiths, a solid rock at the back |
Improvements you would make to Meadow Park : Covering all round, a larger bar and better facilities for the supporters club shop |
Most outrageous thing you've done at a City match : Got dressed up for the Dagenham game |
