Meet the Fans - Andrew Bulled previous : next
Name : Andrew Bulled
Age : 33
Homepage : Have not got one!!
Lives In : Randalstown, Northern Ireland
Occupation : Architectural Technician
All-time Favourite City XI :

 1 Dave Coles/Matt Bath
 2 Alan Bird
 3 Adie Harris
 4 Chris Burns
 5 Gary Kemp (Captain)
 6 Paul Bywater
 7 Chris Townsend
 8 Andy Adebowale
 9 Jimmy Cox
10 Dale Watkins
11 Wayne Noble

12 Lee Smith (for No 11)
14 Jason Eaton (for 9 or 10)
15 Steve Talboys
First Game Attended :
It was at Horton Road when I was 8 or 9, my dad brought me kicking and screaming and very upset that I wasn't at Kingsholm. But I was hooked and have never felt the urge to return to the egg-chasers since
Description of yourself on a matchday :
When I lived in Gloucester I always listened to radio in morning for news and was always ready to leave for the match by 1pm, like a coiled spring. Usually stand in the little corner area between the main stand and the 'T' End Stand near to Club Shop. Living in Northern Ireland I await news from my Dad's mobile or the website from 3pm on Saturday
Other team(s) supported :
Liverpool (Went to lots of games during 1984-1987 period) with Bristol Branch of Supporters club who picked up from Longlevens. Still look for results of all things Gloucestershire (ie. Gloucester Rugby & Hucclecote Old Boys, Gloucestershire Cricket etc)
Favourite Away ground :
I thought Rushden's ground was superb when we visited only a few years back.
Worst Away ground :
Atherstone (Hated going there)
Furthest travelled to an away game :
With City - Gresley & Chelmsford I think but I could be wrong, there might have been somewhere further away
Most memorable City match :
There have been so many, particularly games against local rivals Cheltenham. There was the FA Cup matches against Cardiff (Home and Away) and our trophy runs where we reached the Semi-Finals and last year the Quarter Finals (2002/03 season). But I think the way we destroyed Merthyr, I think it was 7-1 or 7-2 at home.
Maddest Celebration :
The away match at Bromsgrove when we thought we had won promotion only to find out that very late goals had gone in elsewhere and we had missed out.
All-time favourite City player :
A very hard question to put one name down for, but probably I would say Chris Townsend (for all round effort), 2nd Place I would go for Gary Kemp, 3rd Place Karl Bayliss (on his day he was sensational)
Current favourite City player :
Jimmy Cox / Matt Bath
Improvements you would make to Meadow Park :
Make the opponents goal larger and ours smaller !!! If we won the lottery, I would like to see the ground totally enclosed on all sides i.e. a cover over turnstile end and maybe an enclosed all-weather pitch alongside MP.
Most outrageous thing you've done at a City match :
Shouted "That's Crap" at Brian Godfrey after a home game and watched him go mad at me for saying it. There was a home game where I must have followed the camera man because I appeared in two pictures in the Pink Un, one at either end of the ground. Nothing really outlandish !!
Overall Comments :
The financial problems of the club have been a real burden to the club's progression on the field and now we at least have a Chairman who is running the club as a business and yet has a real passion for Football. I think the Club is going in the right direction under Colin Gardner and he's a genuinely nice fella too, no pun intended, but he's worth his weight in gold. All we need is success on the pitch, promotion to the Premier League or New Conference Leagues in 2003/04 and good runs in FA Cup, just reward for our chairman's, our fans efforts over the years.
