The City fans present at Kingfield began to celebrate at the final whistle, mobile phones were going wild as we spoke to some of the fans that hadn't made it. Elsewhere, you could only imagine the scenes as latest scores and then the final result had flashed up on the Sky vidi-printer as people were at home, at work, at skittles. One fan from Stockport seemed to enjoy himself. |

As I walked past the players entrance after the game the City stars were heading for the bar for a celebratory drink, each of them comparing the number of text messages they'd received from friends and family. "I've got thirteen" said one, only to be outdone by another player who had fifteen! |
