| Watching football can be boring sometimes and although it's a team game it's the individuals who often make the difference. For me you can't beat a player with raw pace, athough it helps if he can control a ball as well (the sprinter Darren Campbell at Cinderford springs to mind). |
| Tony Hemmings was a great signing, captured from Hednesford Town by Leroy Rosenior he'd featured prominently around the top of the non league pyramid as well as with one or two clubs in the football league. |
| From his debut against Wolves he was sheer entertainment throughout the season ut back home in Burton on Trent a domestic incident threatened to spoil things as he sailed close to a spell at her Majesty's pleasure. |
| Hemmo left the Tigers and headed up the M6 to Altrincham but things didn't work out and he joined Ilkeston. |
