| Steve joined City as part of the Trowbridge exodus under John Murphy in the summer of 1994. |
| As a reliable left back he made the number three shirt his own as he forged ahead with his steady but unspectacular displays. In fact I'm struggling to think of anything of note that Lester did whilst he was in a City shirt! |
| He left City and joined up with Clevedon Town, close to his Backwell home (I believe) and stayed at the Hand Stadium for almost a decade, scoring against the Tigers pretty much every time the two teams met. |
| Steve has now retired from football. |
