| Steve Fergusson is the clubs record signing at £25,000, although the deal did include Brendan Hackett as they both signed on transfer deadline day in March 1991. |
| For that kind of money you'd expect him to be earning a fair whack, wages that the club couldn't sustain and he was sold off to Telford United for £17,000 (again along with Hackett) a third of the way through the 1991/2 campaign. |
| Roll on half a decade and after he'd enjoyed a fruitful spell in the Conference at Bucks Head before filtering back down to Worcester City where he enjoyed another spell before heading back down the M5 again to Meadow Park. |
