A Season in Photos - Part Nine - From Evesham (H) to Bristol Rovers (H)
Evesham, the league's little snotty kid came to town in what was a real relegation six pointer and not only stole a point but also managed to break Neil Mustoe's leg. Good job they got relegated!

Jody gives his all

Look, it's the nations Pop Idol - Will Young

Handball on the line, no penalty, no red card

Jody gets a mid-air hug from the keeper

Luke's equaliser was well received

Is it a bird? Is it a plane?

Leg breaker

The end of Muzzie's season

Having only joined the Tigers a few weeks earlier it was typical that one of Tim Harris' first away games would be at Merthyr Tydfil. Thankfully he was well recieved by his former supporters and so were the Tigers as goals from Jon Miller and Michael Whittington earned a point, although a brace from Dane Williams pooped the party for the second time this season!

Three City men go for the same ball!

Ferro about to go to Terra Firma!

Another new signing - Paul Stonehouse

Miller celebrates his fantastic opener

Miller cleans up a Stien

Whittington celebrates his first ever City goal

Just a month after facing Lee Glover's Grantham they made the return trip to Meadow Park as City completed their biggest win under Harris. The Tigers were helped though as Gingerbreads keeper Mario Ziccardi was stupidly red carded for picking up two yellows before the break after they'd taken the lead. City's goals came from a Jody Bevan penalty, Dave Wilkinson and two from Michael Whittington.

Wilko gets in the thick of the action

Lyndon is fouled ....

.... and Jody scores from the spot ....

.... much to the City fans delight!

Ziccardi fouls Whittington for his second yellow card

"Bye bye, Bye Bye!"

Whitts celebrates his first of the game

It was rather foggy!

Whitty's second was well received by the Gaffer

Next up was a nice long away trip to Hitchin's Top Field, all for a point. Just like the Merthyr game two weeks earlier City's goals came from Jon Miller and Michael Whittington, although it's hard to say which was the better strike! Miller's effort was a direct free kick from all of thirty-five yards whilst Whitty ran the ball from the halfway line, beat two defenders and scored from the edge of the area.

Non-League Paper columnist Stuart Hammonds

The goalkeeper has a football for a head!

Lyndon dominates in the air

They can't handle Whittington!

Dutch Holland - a star in the making

February ended with the visit of a mixture of Bristol Rovers youth and reserve teams in the County Cup, although the opening goal was scored for City by Mark Preece, one of their own.

Wilko heads up in midfield

Preece rises majestically to score against his own club ....

.... and gets to celebrate with Lyndon Tompkins

Matty almost saved their penalty too!

Lee Randall's corner went straight in, but it was ruled out for a foul on the "keeper" (Steve Book)
