| Rich was one of the flock of Trowbridge players that followed John Murphy from Frome Road to Meadow Park in the summer of 1994. |
| If you listen to some people off the field he often crossed paths with the law and on the field he wasn't best known for his goals but is remembered for his short run out, that as a substitute saw him red carded within minutes of coming off the bench away at Worthing in the FA Cup. |
| If we'd won that game we'd have played away at Bournemouth. |
| Rich didn't stay at City for long and eventually returned to Trowbridge in search of regular football. He also represented Cirencester Town. |
