The youngster who fashioned himself on early nineties pop icon Vanilla Ice came to Meadow Park from Kiddermister Harriers although had never played in the first team for the Aggborough club. From memory it seemed as though he played more than the one and a half games that he actually did although I distinctly remember him appearing away at Barry Town in the League Cup when the local early 90's chavs were spitting at us from the back of their impressive new stand. He was part of a three pronged attack alongside Chris Townsend and Jason Eaton, what a mismatch! Richard later saw action with Bromsgrove Rovers.
