| Lance is a young striker who linked up with the Tigers following his release after two years at Swindon Town. The Gloucester based forward had scored goals for the Robins reserve side and also featured for Swindon Supermarine on work experience but had ultimately failed to impress at the County Ground. |
| His first game in a City shirt was away at Cheltenham Civil Service of the Northern Senior League, and a second half hat trick showed that not only does he have an eye for goal but could fit nicely into the slot vacated by Cirencester bound Lee Smith. |
