| Ian was another of John Murphy's signings from Trowbridge Town and was a decent left sided player. |
| To my memory he scored just the one goal for City, a low left footed drive that took a wicked deflection off of future Tiger David Johnson's heel to give City a 1-0 lead at Rushden. |
| Whilst at City he was loaned to Cheltenham Town before eventually making the move permanent, but then came back to Meadow Park. Swindon based Ian has recently been linked with Weston Super Mare. |
| His brother David is a top professional golfer. |
