Best three City goals ever seen :

Goal 1 : Mingsy's volley at Newport '96

Goal 2 : Jimmy Cox's solo run versus Lewes last season

Goal 3 : Mingsy's equaliser at Meadow Park v Dagenham '97
First Game Attended :
Gloucester vs Witney Feb 81.......I'd thought City had lost 1-0 only to find out that they'd scored in the first minute & what I thought was kickoff was Witney kicking off after the goal !!!
Description of yourself on a matchday :
HAPPY......usually lurking near the penalty area in the shed. Due to Groundhopping and living in Swindon I only see City play 4-5 times a season.
Other team(s) supported :
I only truely support City but there's a lot of teams I'm interested in eg Swindon Supermarine, Swindon Town, Woking, Cirencester etc
I realise that football is bigger than one team but City's result is the one that counts!!
Favourite Away ground :
Woking.......I followed them in the early nineties while in exile in Surrey.
Worst Away ground :
Rothwell, is was cold, damp & NO food.......... Farnborough in 91 wasn't nice either... TOO cold & no burgers....
Furthest travelled to an away game :
Bishop Auckland....My wife said I was certifiable for driving there!!!.... A great experience with yellow & black scarves heading up the A1M
Most memorable City match :
Numerous....City 3-0 Cheltenham 1988... Worth it for walking back to my Cheltenham pals' car GRINNING.
City 9-0 Gosport '90, first game back from the flood.
City 4-3 Bishop Auckland 97.... Phew!!
Bromsgrove 0-1 City 91... OH SOOOOO close!!
City 4-1 Dover.... SUCH a stuffing!!
Maddest Celebration :
I went NUTS during the Bishop Auckland game when we scored to go 4-1 up
All-time favourite City player :
Adie Mings...... Never had any brakes....
I remember two instances; one at Dagenham when I watched him track down the left winger & a similar effort at Bromsgrove when he was dumped on his bum & exacted his revenge 30 sec later at full speed!!!
Oh and the spectacular goal at Newport '96
Current favourite City player :
Jimmy Cox....... one of the last and important piece of the current teams' jigsaw.
Improvements you would make to Meadow Park :
Cover the away end, & improve the car park. It's an eyesore, not at all welcoming.
Most outrageous thing you've done at a City match :
Applaud Dartford after they won 4-0 at Meadow Park. Well although they stuffed us, they did score with a volley from the corner.
Overall Comments :
I love groundhopping. There's more to football than just City. There's other clubs struggling & going through the same turmoil. That said City is my only team and always will be. I always get a gut churning feeling when the ball nears City's penalty area and I honestly believe that City could sign the best defence in the world and as sooon as they put on City shirts they'd become instant Noddy men. I've suffered with my former school mates all supporting Cheltenham but I've got them to visit Meadow Park on more than one occasion.

I believe that City are on the way back & no more should they suffer the years of boom and bust. Get the finances in order, get the team together & move forward its the only way other than to find a sugar daddy. But that is a dangerous plan, as Rushden are about to find out!!
