Eric Barratt - Goalkeeper |

Eric was a young goalkeeper who linked up with the club through his studies at the University of Gloucestershire. |
Having begun his career with Brighton and Hove Albion, he also tasted first team football with Crawley Town before heading to the City in search of higher education. |
With Matt Bath firmly established as number one at Meadow Park chances were to be few and far between for Barratt, although when he did play he looked more than capable of holding his own for City. |
Eric sat on the bench eleven times over two season and started two games, both Cup games against Evesham and Mangotsfield in the FA Trophy and County Cup respectively. He was also loaned out to Tuffley Rovers for a spell but eventually moved on to Hardenhuish Park where he was understudy to Mark Hervin at Chippenham Town. |
