Dominic Dunton - Right Back |

Dominic was a full back who was more memorable for his cannon of a right foot shot which saw him rarely miss a penalty and become a potent threat at set pieces outside of the box. |
However I remember him for an incident against Rocester at Meadow Park where during a delay after an opponent had broken his leg the players went back onto the pitch to 'keep warm' whilst the ambulance arrived. One City fan, an Ulsterman called Tommy Taylor thought it wasn't right that players should be kicking a football around whilst this poor guy lay injured on the pitch, so he called for the players to go back to the dressing rooms. |
Dominic however disagreed and instead decided to mimic our Tommy's Irish accent, before Tommy spoke to Brian Godfrey who brought the players back in. However it wasn't before Dunton had told Tommy that he paid money to watch him play and he'd still be paying money to watch him in ten years time. |
A few weeks later Dominic signed for Swindon Supermarine! |

If you're smart and you've pressed CTRL + A you'll be able to see what has been written here. It's not important, honestly. It bears no relation to this player and all it does is make the picture on the right (yes, that one) stay on the right and not encroach into the middle. Satisfied? Good. |
