Solihull Moors are the club formed from the amalgamation of former Birmingham clubs Moor Green and Solihull Borough.

When the two clubs joined forces in 2007 Moor Green had just had their main stand destroyed by fire and Solihull's Damson Park was the ideal location to move to although eyebrows were raised when they took Moor Green's place in the Conference North rather than Borough's in the Southern League, which tends to be the norm for merging clubs.

The Tigers did the double over the Birmingham team during the 2009/10 campaign with Tom Hamblin netting the only goal in the away game and Marc Richards winning the game with a header at Cirencester.

With an influx of cash coming from a groundshare with Birmingham and Solihull Bees rugby club the Moors improved their squad for the next season and their 1-2 win against City in August 2010 flattered us!
