Attacking left sided player or forward who came through from the youth setup at City to establish himself as a fans favourite.
After first appearing in a Couny Cup game at Mangotsfield Adam made his full first team debut away at Luton Town in the FA Trophy in February 2011, going on to make almost one hundred starts, scoring eleven goals.
If he made his debut in a big game, his first goal was just as memorable; a stunning that flew in against AFC Telford United leaving the keeper ballwatching.
His strength was reading the game, as was often shown by the number of times he cut out passes to full backs and set up attacks but if he was honest his return of just five goals from over a hundred appearances wasn't good enough for an attacking player.
Adam established himself as City's left winger and was an ever-present in the squad until he took the chance to go travelling in America at the end of his second season. Upon his return, lacking match fitness he joined Shortwood United. During his eighteen months at the Stroud club Mann played a part in their FA Cup run and appeared live on Sky TV in a First round match at home to Port Vale.
He rejoined City in February 2014 and was played in a more central role but despite weighing in with the odd goal didn't really find his best form and was sent out on loan to Evesham United whom he went on to join permanently in January 2015
Adam will be missed, especially by those fans who liked to sing his song. Altogether now... "It's Adam Mann....."
