Jared, the younger brother of former City keeper Conor Thompson signed from Weymouth in February 2024 making his debut away in a 3-3 draw at Rushall Olympic.
He seemed to be sharing the number one shirt with young Cardiff City loanee Jake Dennis as the Tigers slipped further and further into the relegation mire.
The goalkeeper conceded 23 goals in the nine games that he started including seven at home to Boston United.
Jared is a Northern Ireland youth International.
