Eastwood were out first home opponents in the Blue Square North back in August 2009 and after being blown away in a 1-3 defeat many of City's fans would've wondered what they'd let themselves in for.
That game saw the teams level at half time, Mike Symons levelled with a controlled lob after the Badgers had taken the lead but two quick goals at the start of the second half killed the game.
Away at Coronation Park though was a different story. With the home team riding high in second place and City scratching around at the bottom our 3-0 win certainly raised a few eyebrows. Jack Pitcher and Lee Smith scored withing 57 seconds of each other while Jack Harris put a cap on the result midway through the second half.
Our second visit to Eastwood saw the ground now levelled, no longer sloping from corner to corner and the Tigers came away with another three points thanks to a blockbuster from Darren Mullings and an opportunist strike from Will Morford, plus some backs to the wall defending.
