Lee Smith - Right Winger

Debut :

Last Game :

Right sided attacker, midfielder or defender signed for a second spell with the Tigers upon his release from Weston Super Mare in September 2007 despite sompetition from both Chippenham Town and Mangotsfield United. Lee accepted a less lucrative contract simply because he wanted to return to his hometown club.

Having originally broke into the City first team as a seventeen year old he made his full debut on February 8th 2001 in a Doc Martens Cup defeat at Cossham Street and despite struggling with the step up had plenty of opportunity to develope as first a striker, then his preferred position of right wing back simply because Chris Burns had no-one else to play in his place!

As he grew he got better and his pace became his major asset as he began to give left backs nightmares! He could also put over a decent cross too and Lee played a major part in Andy Hoskin's 37 goal haul for the 2003/04 campaign whilst also chipping in with the odd goal or two himself.
