Right winger who had three spells at the clubs.
Initially signed for City in October 1990 from Reading where he'd been released following a hernia injury. Keith had been at Reading across two seasons and was a regular in the first team after he'd scored on his debut against Southend United.
Things didn't really work out at Meadow Park and he was sent on loan to Cheltenham for amonth and by the time he'd found some form had got himself a professional contract in Holland.
Keith rejoined the club in 1994 as part of the exodus from Trowbridge when John Murphy was appointed boss. He really showed his quality at times and never missed a penalty with his perfect technique sidefooting the ball high to the keepers left every time.
During that spell a standout game for him was the league game away at Frome Road where he scored both goals in City's 2-1 win.
After following Murphy beyond City Keith came back for a third time in his mid thirties as player coach under Chris Burns. Quite often he'd play as a full back.
One time after a particularly poor performance at half time one supporter expressed their feelings in a negative manner and Knight came out from the changing rooms to remonstrate with the fan on the T-End during the break.
