Below are links to my flickr gallery where you can find high resolution scans of newspaper cutting of Gloucester City AFC covering more than a quarter of a century from 1986 onwards. The majority of these cuttings were kindly provided by City Historian Rob Kujawa, no copyright infringement is intended.
1986 The year that City moved into Meadow Park and were under the management of Steve Scarrott and a young Tim Harris.
1987 The era when Brian Godfrey took over and City started to splash the cash! Look out for the Arsenal match too...
1988 The year that we humiliated Cheltenham Town in the FA Cup and a legend arrived a few weeks before Christmas!
1989 A Championship and Cardiff in the FA Cup!
1990 The up's and down's of Les Alderman
1991 Last day heartbreak at Bromsgrove and Brian Godfrey gets the sack!
1992 Brian Godfrey is back and City sign Michael Oakes
1993 The year of the epic Trophy tie against Runcorn
1994 Brian Godfrey is sacked again, John Muprhy takes over and City thrash Merthyr 7-1 in the FA Cup!
1995 A superb time for Gloucester City under the guidance of John Murphy
1996 Leroy Rosenior took over and the spending continued but we still couldn't beat Thatcham Town!
1997 Gloucester City, the nearly men. The League & The FA Trophy!
1998 The year of the 10-0 win, Leroy's resignation and the Andy Mainwaring Tax Bill
1999 The year that it all started to go wrong and City fans wanted to Sack the Board
2000 Brian Hughes gets the sack and City get relegated.
2001 Callinan goes, Chris Burns takes over and City lose 1-7 at home to Bedworth
2002 Burns starts to work his magic on a shoestring budget
2003 The great Trophy run saw wins at Woking & Southport
2004 The year that we ran Redditch very close for the Southern League Championship
2005 City struggled in the re-organised Southern Premier and it all became a bit much for Burnsy
2006 Tim Harris takes over as manager and the club enters a newer, more professional era
2007 The year of the great Flood and City move to The New Lawn
2008 City narrowly miss out on the playoffs and Boris takes over from Tim Harris
2009 The Playoff win at Farnborough and Gloucester becomes "North"
2010 The Tigers find life hard in the Blue Square North
2011 City bravely bow out of the FA Trophy at Luton and progress is made on the new ground
2012 After 23 years City finally qualify for the FA Cup Proper!
2013 City survive financial crisis and end the year at the bottom of the league
2014 Present Day!
