Bridgwater were the team that City drew in the fourth round of the 2008/09 Southern League Cup. They are also the club which provided Portuguese legend Jorge Ferro as well as young Hartpury College attacker Matt Shaxton..
Our one and only meeting to date, in February 2009 saw a poor performance from the Tigers as the Somerset team deservedly booked their place in the semi-finals of the Southern League Cup with a 2-1 victory, despite having had a man sent off. |
