Jody Bevan - Striker

D.O.B. - 21/10/1978 - Gloucester

Debut : Bath City (H) - 21/01/06
Last Game : Cirencester Town (A) 26/04/08

Jody finally signed for the Tigers in January 2006 (making his debut against Bath City) after starting out with the club as a youth teamer back when Keith Gardner was spending everyone else's money in the mid 1990's.

In a career that has seen the Gloucester born striker represent Cinderford Town on three occasions, Weston Super Mare where he was a fans favourite as the Seagulls won promotion to the Southern Premier and also Trowbridge and Cirencester Town it took until he was 27 to join his home town club

He finished his first few months with City with three goals in sixteen appearances which included penalties at home to Grantham Town and Team Bath plus a fine glancing header minutes after coming off the bench against Halesowen.

The 2006/07 campaign started well for Jody with five goals in eleven starts before injury in the FA Trophy away at Tiverton saw him ruled out until Christmas at least.

Interestingly none of the goals that Jody has scored for the Tigers has been in front of the T-End!

His last game was away at Cirencester Town on the final day of the 2007/08 season where he describes the volley that he scored as his best ever goal!
