Dean Grubb - Right Winger
D.O.B. - - Weston-super-Mare
Debut : Cambridge City (H) - 21/03/09 Last Game : Bristol City (A) - 06/05/09
Dean is a pacy right winger who has experience in the Conference South with Weston Super Mare.
Formerly with Bristol City, with whom he was a member of their Reserve and Youth team for seven years. He made one appearance for Wales U21 side (when they defeated Northern Ireland U21 4-0 in Belfast) and has made five appearances for Wales U19 side.
Although he was a regular for the Seagulls in the 2007/08 campaign in his second season he has found games harder to come by and had his contract cancelled by mutual consent so that he could join up with the Tigers.
Dean signed for the club on March 19th 2009 and made his debut as a substitute in the 2-1 home win over Cambridge City on March 21st 2009.
Dean showed glimpses of brilliance but more often than not seemed to just be going through the motions, so it's best that we remember him for his right wing crosses that set up goals for Lee Smith at Brackley and Luke Ballinger at Bristol City.
He signed for Conf South side Weymouth in May 2009.
He'll be missed by the City fans who liked to sing "All you need is Grubb..." and players with names so easy to work into songs don't come along that often!
