Wayne Noble - Midfielder
D.O.B. - - Bristol
Debut : Ashtree Highfield (H) - 20/08/88 Last Game : Hastings Town (H) - 01/05/93
Old fashioned left winger who would take on full backs and get a decent cross into the box.
Wayne had the nickname Bunter because of his portly stature, well, as portly as a footballer can be, although it was unfairly attributed because of out of all of the players we've had he rarely missed a game during his five year spell at the club.
Out of the 286 games the team played in that period Wayne featured in 262 of them. There were just 24 occasions when he was not selected or an unused substitute.
After he signed a new deal with the club it was reported that he had become the clubs first ever professional player, he spent his days training with his former club Bristol Rovers.
After his time with the Tigers he led a nomadic existence around the west country even having a spell at the dark side of the Golden Valley, although it was his cross as a Salisbury player that set up Gary Manson for his hat trick goal as the home side scored three times in five minutes to draw 3-3 with us in October 1995.
The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.
