Highly rated midfielder or defender finally signed permanently in June 2013 after opting to join local rivals Worcester City twelve months earlier.
Tyler initially had two loan spells with the Tigers from parent club Hereford United and became a fans favourite at the club making almost fifty appearances scoring three goals but having exhausted his three month loan spell found himself unable to sign again and was sent to Worcester instead.
The St Georges Lane club were able to offer him a better deal than City and he chose to go there upon his release from Hereford but found himself twice on the losing side as David Mehew's men claimed bragging rights in the local derbies, although he stood up well against Lewis Hogg in a physical battle.
With Worcester slashing their wage budget following their move to Kidderminster Weir returned home to Gloucester.
