Pacy striker or winger who joined the club on a permanent basis in the summer of 2011 after impressing in a loan spell during the previous season.
Swansea native Steve featured for both Cirencester Town and Forest Green Rovers after impressing whilst studying at Hartpury College but his time with the Conference club was hampered by injury.
After originally turning down the chance to join the Tigers a year earlier he came to City on loan with Lee Smith and impressed with his pace and a diving header at home to Harrogate Town.
His debut at Vauxhall Motors when he finally signed for the club showed him to be an explosive talent as he scored in a 2-0 win but he pulled up injured in the last minute, something which would define the two seasons he spent with City.
Steve's goals might've been few and far between but when he did score they were usually memorable. An injury time equaliser against Altrincham saw him scissor kicked by the goalkeeper whilst a brilliant equaliser at Stalybridge gave City another draw.
Another goal against Stalybridge helped City to a 4-3 win and he was the matchwinner as the Tigers won 1-0 against Boston and Brackley.
