Spencer initially joined the club from local football in the summer of 2014 going on to amass almost 150 appearances. Not known for his goalscoring prowess, he has notched just the one goal, at home to Curzon Ashton in November 2019. He left the club soon after James Rowe became manager and linked up with Chippenham Town in the National League South before returning under Tim Flowers in the summer of 2023.
