Described by Tim Harris as someone who had a great desire to prove himself again at this level after previously representing both Bath City and Clevedon Town Ray finally made his debut in the 0-2 home defeat against Kings Lynn on February 3rd 2007 after sitting on the bench for a while. Having started out with Bristol Rovers and also represented England at under-15 level he came described as a good physical keeper with a long kick and a great vocal presence. Postman Ray made 17 appearances overall.
