Paul Stonehouse - Defender
1st Debut : Merthyr Tydfil (A) - 11/02/06 Last Game : Aylesbury United (A) - 25/03/06
2nd Debut : Bath City (H) - 20/01/07 Last Game : Corby Town (H) - 20/02/07
Stonehouse had two loan spells with the Tigers in the mid-noughties from his parent club Forest Green.
His first spell was under the management of new boss Tim Harris and he made his debut at Merthyr Tydfil where he whipped in a great left footed cross to set up a goal for Michael Whittington and didn't lose a game during his seven games at City.
The following season he came back again but his debut wasn't one to remember; a 0-4 reverse at Meadow Park against Bath City. He enjoyed (or endured) a mixed bag of results but the experienced served him well.
Back at the New Lawn he forced his way into the first team and somewhere along the line became their best player, even scoring in the 3-4 FA Cup defeat at home to Derby County.
After a season with Mansfield Town he returned to the south-west and signed for Bath in the summer of 2011.
