Of the eleven goals that he scored in his debut season the late winner at home to Rushden & Diamonds stood out. His second season was fractured by the recurrance of a long term groin injury and he missed as many games as he played. He scored just twice. Paul left two games into the following season after City looked to cut costs following Keith Gardner's departure.
