Mike was originally signed on a season long loan from Bristol Rovers for City's inaugral season in the Blue Square North.
Over the course of that campaign he improved so much that he was offered an extension to his contract at Rovers. However they seemed to prefer to bring in keepers on loan rather than give Mike a fair chance to claim the number one shirt for himself.
Having been released Mike trialled with several clubs during the 2011/12 pre-season before eventually signing non-contract forms with Eastleigh but was released after just one game. However fortune favoured him as he signed for the Tigers within four hours!
His stay at City was brief, he was only here to cover for the injured Kev Sawyer but the club retained his Conference registration and he re-signed when Kev was released in September 2011.
