Debut : Altrincham (H) - 03/09/11 Last Game : Colwyn Bay (A) - 28/04/12
Cultured midfielder with Football League experience signed from Chelmsford City in the summer of 2011.
Matt had a metatarsal injury when he joined the Tigers so missed pre-season and took a while to gain full match fitness so went to play a few games at Cirencester where he impressed with a stunning thirty yard strike for the Centurians.
That feat was to be repeated with a sublime free kick in the 7-2 humbling of Truro City in the FA Cup and another great goal against Cheltenham at Tuffley in the County Cup.
In fact of the four goals that he scored, the least spectacular was a match winning penalty kick at Blyth while the other was another stunner in the 1-0 win at Corby.
Lock's only blot on his copybook was the straight red card that he picked up in the home defeat to Stalybridge, but we'll let him off that!
He left the club in June 2012 to take up an offer to play football in Australia with Perth team Bunbury Forum Force.
Clubs: Exeter City (30-0), Team Bath, Tiverton Town, Mangotsfield United, Team Bathy, Chelmsford City, Gloucester City, Cirencester Town (loan 2-1), Bunbury Forum Force (Australia), Chelmsford City, Dover Athletic, Maldon & Tiptree, Bowers & Pitsea, Coggeshall Town, Canvey Island
