Mark Freeman - Defender
D.O.B. - - Walsall
Debut : Burton Albion (H) - 16/09/ 95 Last Game : Staines Town (H) - 20/01/96
Niicknamed "Boka", Freeman was a big defender who was a mainstay of the successful Hednesford team that ran away with the league title in the 1994/95 season. He never really settled at City after signing on loan and went on to have great success at Cheltenham Town instead.
He was leaving City as his teammates were making the arduous midweek trip to Sudbury Town for an FA Trophy tie and took a parting shot at Chairman Keith Gardner who apparently "owed him a car"!
